What is this movie about? About love?
To me, this is a beautiful movie, it's only here at archive we can see it. Something to do with censorship by YouTube, if I'm correct. Now that we've moved through time since this movie is made, the volume of our collective suppressed shadow has grown more in that same time. But not all is lost, for this movie shows that there's a flame unwilling to die.
The woman speaking at the festival, at the 50th minute or so, is an example of how one manages to mesmerize a group of people who are all in a similar frame of mind, determined to have fun at a festival. Nothing wrong with it, but to me, she uses this state of euphoria almost, to make the audience willing to swallow her, to me, cheap argumentation dressed up in sentiments with silly body language, while wearing dark glasses. How out of touch with reality can one be? At times, she looks like a raving woman. Is this what it means to be swept away by one's own exaltation? I assume this may be one of Marianne Williamson's first performances in public.
There are many different expressions and views in this movie, related to the question "What is love?" and it makes it valuable, as a little treasure box, in the sense that different people may perceive a little gem, hidden in it. To each his/her own. My perception is mine.
It's my belief, that when I make each moment in my life/presence, count as a choice, in action and opinion, taking responsibility for that choice, it will become clear to me, or revealed to me that I draw certain conditions and events into my life based on that choice.
This stance is a great instrument serving discernment, knowing myself more each day and act on that knowledge in the world at large. It's not right that I should determine what's your karma or your chosen reality, to me it's a personal affair for each of us. Intimate.
